This is fantastic...This is probably the most amazing part about social media the power of "word of mouth" marketing has now exploded. RT's and Status Update's has pretty much built our entire business. Hope the wedding planning is going well and really enjoy your blog.

This is great and if we all want to be honest, probably the way pretty much everything will happen in the future. We have been able to pretty much build the wife's photography business on this same premise without hardly spending any money on advertising. Retweet's and Status Updates are what make the world go around. Hope planning is going well, enjoy the blog.

Social media and the wedding industry is a match made in heaven if you ask me. When my best friend (ELD_Lauren) got engaged two years ago, I told her she had to start reading all the great wedding blogs to get ideas and inspiration. Now that she's married, she's launched her own blog and built out her Twitter presence to help connect brides and vendors online. There are many other wedding professionals doing the same thing, and it's really interesting to read about it from a PR perspective. Can't wait to read more in this series!

This is awesome! I can't wait to hear about other ways you're using social media to plan your wedding. I find people and things through Twitter ALL the time, and I definitely wish I had been using Twitter when I was planning my wedding! And I totally agree...so much better when a photographer has a blog. I won't recommend anyone who doesn't. :) Good luck!!

Thanks, Alexis! Glad you like the series idea! I definitely don't know how I would plan this whole thing without the Internet :)
