If Twitter charged a fee to its users: would you pay? Let’s think about it. Twitter currently has about 20 million users, we’ll say 40% of which are truly active. So that’s 8 million. If only half of these active users (4 million) were willing to pay a mere $5 a month, Twitter would make $20 million a month from these fees. But would people be willing to pay? [...]
