I agree. It would be funny though and you have a year to mull it over

When I told my fiance about this, he said, "You're not doing that, I mean it!"...hehe...I totally would NEVER, but it's still funny.

I agree that it's a bit tacky. And I think that the Catholic church I'm getting married would be pretty upset...but in this scenario the groom definitely had permission from the church and the guests all seemed to laugh, so to each his own I guess. I'm a firm believer in your wedding day being YOUR day, so if you want to tweet at the alter, so be it. But I wouldn't.

Hehe...I like your idea though...very funny. Personally, I prob won't change mine until after the reception, maybe even after the honeymoon...who knows?

Now while this video is hilarious, I think that my wife would have slapped the hell out of me on the alter. Granted you are the bride, so you might be able to get away with it, but where would you hide the phone in your dress. Does it have pockets?

In my opinion it comes of a bit tacky, but here is a suggestion that may work if you want to be connected. Give your phone to a bridesmaid and ask her to snap a picture when they announce you as the couple. After that she can Tweet it with the #fb tag with something like "We're married bitches" or something like that. It would allow you to be the TMZ of your wedding.
